We are Dorset's' only wheelchair basketball club.
Training weekly every Thursday at Ashdown Leisure centre, Poole.
Our Story
When Terry Dennis wanted to return to the sport of wheelchair basketball he discovered that there was no wheelchair basketball clubs available in Dorset and with all the surrounding counties having one he decided that it would be a great idea to create one.
September 16th 2021 the first taster sessions was held with a handful of donated chairs and a few willing disabled and able bodied participants. The sessions were a success and on 27th January 2022 Dorset Demons became a constituted club.
Two years later on 10th September Dorset Demons entered their first competitive tournament where and won their first ever competitive game, coming away with a trophy.
